Claudia Godinez
Claudia has two passions – yoga & teaching. She first began the practice of yoga in 2000. Her former career was in education. Claudia taught at the elementary school level in San Diego and as an English as Second Language instructor abroad in Madrid , Spain . After the birth of her children, she left education to spend more time with her family. This transition allowed her the opportunity to deepen her practice and further her study of yoga by attending the teacher-training program at UCSD. Merging her love for yoga and the joy of teaching, she hopes to share the many life benefits of yoga with others.

 

 

 

Cheryl Haas

Cheryl recently left her career in accounting and finance to pursue a new career – as a stay-at-home mom to her 2 ½ year old daughter. She uses yoga not only to relax and exercise, but to also spend some time in the “adult world”. Cheryl began practicing yoga in 1999, after spending more than fifteen years studying jazz and modern dance. She is currently enrolled in the yoga teacher training program at UCSD and will soon become a certified yoga instructor though Yoga Alliance.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Leah Hogarth

First introduced by her aunt to the practice of the yoga asanas, Leah has been practicing yoga since 2000. After arriving in San Diego in 2004 as a graduate student of oceanography, Leah's love for yoga began to take a more prominent role in her life and in 2006, she entered the Yoga Teachers Training Program at the University of California , San Diego . Leah's inspiration to teach comes from the desire to share the power of yoga with others. She is the hostess of a weekly web-based yoga class and appears regularly on Univision TV.
